Thanks to its network of weather stations and sensors distributed throughout the territory, the agronomists at Precision Testing have reliable climate data used:
- for the calculation of the water balance, which allows companies to receive advice on irrigation volumes and timing of interventions. The use of soil monitoring probes makes it possible to verify the actual dynamics of the volumetric water content in the soil, validating the results of the calculated water balance.
- to run models and DSS for the main plant diseases and pests, which allow companies to receive useful guidance for crop protection management. The information provided by the DSS is verified with monitoring and specific traps for pests (chromotropic, light, pheromone) and field observations for fungal pathogens.
