The Precision Testing Experimental Center
Precision Testing conducts GEP, demonstrative, agronomic and varietal trials in northern Italy, carrying out experimental activities in the environments most suitable for the purposes of the trial, on farms selected for their high professionalism.
The company alsohas an irrigated experimental farm of 6 ha, managed directly and located in the Veronese plain, in an area with a strong agricultural vocation.
The farm is also equipped with a 400 sqm tunnel, for the management of trials in a protected environment.
The company's land is reserved for trials with experimental products for which daily and precise management of the various implementation phases is required.
The possibility to freely manage and carry out artificial infestations with insects, mites, fungi, and weeds typical of the Po Valley environment, makes it possible to increase the chances of success of chemical trials, compared to the natural development of populations of phytophagous insects, pathogens, and weeds, which is instead linked to seasonal climatic trends.
This method allows the management of trials on a wide range of extensive herbaceous, horticultural, and floricultural species, and on numerous targets, both in open field and in protected environment.
Part of the company's land is used for seed multiplication and varietal maintenance of self-pollinating species, such as cereals and soybeans.
The entire activity is managed independently, with company-owned machinery.
